Teen killed In Fatal Crash: A tragic single-vehicle crash in unincorporated Clackamas County, Oregon, left a 17-year-old passenger dead and another 17-year-old hospitalized with serious injuries, authorities confirmed.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, deputies with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) responded to the 37000 block of S. Dickey Prairie Road following reports of a vehicle crash. When deputies arrived, they discovered that the vehicle had left the roadway and traveled approximately 20 feet down an embankment.

Firefighters from the Molalla Fire Department were already on scene and actively working to rescue the two occupants of the vehicle.

Officials confirmed that the 17-year-old passenger died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. The 17-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.

The crash prompted responses from the Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office as well as the Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic Technicians (CRAFT) team, who assisted with the investigation and scene analysis.

Law enforcement officials stated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Detectives are working to determine the factors that led to the vehicle leaving the roadway.
