Shane Theodore Fors Obituary- Death: The family and friends of Shane Theodore Fors, aged 27, are mourning his passing on March 7, 2026, in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on June 14, 1998, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Shane touched countless lives with his kind heart, loyalty, and bright spirit.

Shane was a standout individual from an early age. He excelled academically and athletically, graduating with honors from Ledyard High School in 2016, where he was a three‑sport athlete. He was also an Eagle Scout, a distinction that reflected his love for the outdoors, community service, and personal integrity.

After high school, Shane pursued higher education at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, graduating cum laude in 2020. While there, he played collegiate lacrosse, earning recognition for his outstanding performance and sportsmanship on the field — traits that mirrored his strong character off the field as well.

Those who knew Shane remember him for his infectious personality, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to the people he cared about. He touched the lives of family, friends, teammates, and classmates with his sincere compassion and ability to lift others’ spirits. His legacy is one of joy, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Shane was predeceased by his father, Todd Fors; his grandfathers, F.W. “Butch” Fendler and Dennis Fors; and his uncle, Aaron Koenig.

Shane leaves behind cherished family members including his daughter, Millie, and her brother Levi Wilkinson, along with Millie’s mother, Kaitlyn Wilkinson. He is also survived by his parents, Kristina (Koenig) and Anthony Sabilia; his sister, Mikayla Fors; his brothers, Samuel and Wyatt Sabilia; and his grandmothers Marlene Fors and Mary Lou Fendler, as well as his grandparents Anthony and Cleo Sabilia. He is survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and many loved ones who will treasure his memory forever.

A Celebration of Life for Shane was held on March 20, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, located at 12 Ocean Avenue in New London, Connecticut. Attendees gathered to honor his life, share memories, and provide support to his grieving family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shane’s memory were suggested to Community Speaks Out, an organization close to the family’s heart.

Shane Theodore Fors will be remembered for his warm personality, loyalty, athletic spirit, and generous heart. His legacy lives on through the stories, memories, and love shared by all who knew him.
