At 63 years old, Barbara touched the lives of countless friends, family, and neighbors with her deep faith, generous heart, and unwavering kindness throughout her journey.
Born on October 15, 1962, in Syracuse, New York, Barbara lived a life rooted in love, service, and devotion. She was a graduate of Cicero High School (Class of 1980) and later married her high school sweetheart in 1981 — marking a lifetime of love, commitment, and shared faith.
Barbara was an active and cherished member of the First Baptist Church of Memphis in Elbridge, where she served joyfully in the children’s ministry, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. Her warm spirit and nurturing presence brought light and encouragement to othera,
Barbara J. Simpson is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, David L. Simpson, who stood by her side through every challenge and milestone. She is also survived by her devoted children — David W. (Katelyn Sullivan‑Simpson) Simpson and Kimberly (Jeremiah) Jaeger — and her cherished grandchildren: Kaleb Jaeger, Anthony Farrington, Sierra Jaeger, and Colette Sullivan‑Simpson.
Her sisters, Janine Wall (Matt) and Julie Gustina, also survive her, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever treasure her memory.
Barbara loved her family deeply and was known for her gentle humor, warm hospitality, and steadfast faith — qualities that enriched every room she entered and every heart she encountered.

Visitation: Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Memphis (1960 W. Genesee Turnpike, Elbridge, NY 13060).

Burial: A private interment will be held later at Maple Grove Cemetery in Jordan.
